I’ve been living in my house for about 7ish years now and needless to say, I have the makeover-my-home itch. My new home isn’t so new anymore and my decor is feeling a little stale. So, what are some things you can to do to add a refreshing look, without doing major updates and breaking the bank – new curtains, wall decor, lamps . . paint, wallpaper. It’s the little things that can really make a big difference when it comes to a home refresh. New season, new look. Sounds like perfect timing to me.
I’ve always loved that modern farmhouse vibe. But lately, I’ve been wanting to add some boho touches and cleaner, whiter accents, as well. Wall quotes have always been a favorite and cozy is a must. My current to-do list or should I say “re-do” list is the following:
As always, I headed on over to Amazon to see what I could find to get the home makeover party started. And, as always, Amazon didn’t disappoint. One of my favorite finds was a fiber wall art, which we actually purchased for our lake house pretty recently. This piece looks like something similar I’ve seen on Instagram for thousands of dollars – except this one is under $60. Yes, it is under $60 and looks so much more expensive. I loved it so much, I’m thinking of getting a piece to replace wall art I’ve had for over 15 years. It’s definitely time.
Change is good. Sometimes it’s exactly what you need to keep moving forward. It’s growth. Learning to let go of things that don’t bring a positive energy anymore – is key.
