My name is Erica and I’m a makeup and beauty junkie. There, I said it. This almost 50-something year-old loves to try the latest and greatest products you see all over social media. I just also really love playing with different makeup and trying new things to help with the whole idea of “aging gracefully.” So far I haven’t tried any of the the anti-aging procedures such as fillers and Botox, but I’m also not against trying them in the near future. For now, I’m going to continue doing my best to minimize fine lines, improve my skin and use products that make me feel pretty and somewhat, youthful.
My eyes have always been the one place that makes me feel a bit self-conscious. Thanks to hereditary and allergies, I’ve been not-so-blessed with puffiness under the eye area. Not to mention, my younger days of soaking up the sun around my parent’s pool during the summers have definitely caught up to me. I sure loved that burn-turn-to-tan skin I had in my teens at the time, so those crucial suntanning hours were top priority. What about Sun-In spray for pretty-golden locks? Yep, I was all about that, too. Can you relate?
Through the years, I have definitely come across some products I really don’t think I could live without. Maybe that sounds a bit dramatic, but seriously, they are just THAT good. Whether it’s a makeup palette I use until I’m scraping every bit out of it or its something that enhances my appearance – if it’s worth the hype, I’m going to share the love. So, here ya go – don’t think twice ladies. These are AMAZING!
My Favorite Eyeshadow Palette – Not only does it smell like chocolate, these cool tones are perfection. You know how you get a palette with colors you rarely use, this isn’t one of them. I use all these colors at different times, depending on the look I’m going for.
My Favorite Eyeshadow Primer – I found this while researching a less expensive brand than the one I was originally using. This got great reviews and it has become the one I continue buying time and time again. I put it on in the morning before applying my eyeshadow, and my eyeshadow stays on throughout the day – without absolutely no creasing.
Lash Growth Serum – I’ve tried a few less expensive brands and they just don’t compare to this tried and true. It also doesn’t leave a dark appearance underneath my eyes like others have done. It really makes a huge difference in the length of my lashes.
Anti-Aging Skin Therapy Wand – I use this three times a week and I really can notice a difference in the texture of my skin, as well as the fine lines and redness being reduced. It includes different wands to target different problem areas. This has been compared to more expensive in-office procedures, so I’m really glad I came across this awhile ago.
Anti-Aging Skincare System – I love the idea of having products that just complement each other, because they are truly meant to be used together. Again, I’ve tried a few different anti-aging skincare systems, and this is the one has people complimenting my skin. It’s a gamechanger.
Anti-Aging Masks – Yes, you may have read about these before. I love them! Filled with skincare goodness, they are a great way to treat your skin to a little extra TLC a few times a week after a long day. So moisturizing and plumps for a youthful glow.
Eye Brightening Drops – When I say that I’ve never had a product work so well, so fast as this one – it’s true. Yes, all these other favorites I talk about work, but these drops give almost an instant makeover. The whites of your eyes are white and brighter – giving an overall less tired and more fresher appearance.
Bronzer, Blush, Brightening Sticks – These come in a few color options for colors that coordinate together and go well with your particular skin tone. The Trio is amazing for giving you that bronze glow, highlighted accents and fresh, rosy cheeks. Doesn’t settle in lines and wrinkles and is known to be great for more mature woman.
Whitening Mouth Wash – Sounds pretty-simple, right? I drink a lot of coffee. I also get a lot of compliments on how white my teeth are. I’ve never had professional whitening done, so I give all the credit to this. I use this religiously morning and night.
Eye Tightening Serum – As I mentioned above, my under eye area is my biggest concern. I’ve tried so many different products that claim they get rid of under eye bags. Peter Thomas Roth, StriVectin, Plexaderm . . . you name it, I’ve probably have tried it. After seeing this on an Amazon ad, I decided to give another one a shot. Finally, a product that works. Seriously, the difference is amazing and the before and after shots are accurate. No residue, either. Since using, my confidence has been boosted a bit with this main concern of mine.
Firming And Tightening Lotion – When I tell you that this brand is the Holy Grail when it comes to an anti-aging product – I’m not exaggerating. I’ve tried many of their products and they all deliver AMAZING results. I once was a fan of Maely’s products, until I decided to give this brand a try. The difference in the skin on my thighs blew me away.
